grouptherapy.’s TJOnline Releases Self-produced Single “sweet”

2022 has been a great year for music thus far with the emergence of many artists. grouptherapy. is just one great example of the amazing talents to come to prominence this year. Consisting of TJOnline, Jadagrace, and SWIM, they released a 7-track project titled Truth Be Told to kick off 2022. Now following up from that project, TJOnline has returned to release his solo performance on the track sweet. In his attempt at becoming more comfortable within his music he said “I’d been out for a few years when I made sweet but still very ashamed. It’s always been hard for me to feel comfortable.” A concept many people deal with when trying to express themselves whether it be through art or not, it can be a difficult thing to do when one is used to being in their comfort zone. It’s important to realize that if one wants to grow they need to become comfortable with being uncomfortable. TJOnline does exactly that by releasing this song and getting out of his comfort zone.

The infectious production is driven by the up tempo drums and hard hitting 808’s. The melody being very simple with little to no instruments gives TJOnline a lot of space that compliments his catchy flow. TJOnline also produced the track which shows his creative ability apart from being the artist. This song serves as a representation of who TJOnline is, he is embracing himself and who he is becoming. A pure testament to TJOnline and him finding himself this is a progressive track that gives positivity.
